time:2025-03-02
The development of bags has resulted in a wide variety of types today, among which we commonly see backpacks, briefcases, cosmetic bags, ice bags, schoolbags, wallets, belt bags, pen cases, CD bags, and so on. Our company specializes in making wallets, which include short wallets, long wallets, hinge wallets, zipper wallets, shredded silver bags, key bags, etc. The short wallets are further categorized into horizontal or upright single bags, mother-child bags, flip-top bags, and triple-fold bags. The main materials used in making wallets include various genuine leather, artificial leather, nylon, etc. (Understanding the materials is quite important when we deviate from the pattern), and the main production processes include single-folded edges, double-folded edges, edge sealing, open ends, and voltage, etc. Here, we will explain the consistent methods of our company for deviating from the pattern, as well as some knowledge that needs to be mastered during the deviation: 1. Definition of Bag Pattern Deviation What is referred to as bag pattern deviation is the process of, based on the original board (or design drawing, photograph), using paper patterns as materials, designing the shapes of the components that make up the bag, and marking various symbols on the paper pattern components to represent the manufacturing method of the bag. 2. Responsibilities of the Pattern Setter Firstly, to analyze the overall structure of the original board (or drawing) provided by the client. Secondly, to analyze the shapes of the components that make up the original board (or drawing). Thirdly, to compile relevant information for the construction of the bag, which includes: - The number of paper patterns. - Specifications, colors, and quantities of metal hardware and plastic sealant. - Zipper and webbing number, specifications, and quantities. - Specifications of edge sealing and adhesive bones. 3. Pattern Tools - A steel ruler in inches or centimeters. - A soft leather ruler in inches or centimeters. - A compass. - A utility knife (including blades). - A pencil and an eraser each. - Some 250P paper. - A workbench. - A foam pad of 100×50 centimeters. - A positioning iron. - A movable stool. The above is a set of essential bag pattern deviation tools that each pattern setter must have when working.
