1. Pull/Twist/Torque Test
1.1 Metal Watch Bands
1.1.1 Tension Test Method
During the test, a rubber bag should be placed over the buckle to prevent the buckle from bursting open;
Two watch bands from each batch must be sampled and fixed on the test stand as shown in Figure 1;
A weight of 5kg (or 5 kg of force) is hung on one of the cylinders;
1.1.2 Evaluation Criteria
The band body must not become loose, especially the connection part between the带头珠 and other band sections;
No part of the band can become loose or deformed;
If any of the above phenomena occur, the test must be repeated;
If the same phenomenon occurs during the second test, the entire batch must be returned.
1.2 Watch Band Buckle
2.1 Opening Force Test Method
Clamp the watch band onto the fixture as shown in Figure 2. Use a stainless rod to clamp the band body onto the fixture;
Open and close the watch band buckle 3 times to remove the initial扣合力 due to friction;
As shown in Figure 3, lock the watch band assembly onto a cylinder;
Insert the tension tester into the buckle, then slowly pull down the cylinder and the watch head part until the buckle is opened. (Note: Do not pull the watch head suddenly or abruptly to avoid incorrect readings);
Repeat steps 3 and 4 three times, record the results each time, and calculate the average.
